Fallschirmjäger (Paratrooper) badge manufactured by Jmme & Sohn with case. This example being earlier production. The badge with silvered wreath and mercuric gilt eagle/swastika. The reverse with the typical small dome rivets. The Jmme & Sohn, Berlin name within impressed to the centre. Typical needle pin assembly. The case of issue in dark blue with the gold blocked designation to the lid. Interior with blue flocked base, along with blue silk roof. The reverse of the badge engraved with the original paratrooper's name, Mantek.

Condition report: Badge with 98% silvered and gilt finish remaining. Some pleasant age darkening to the silvered wreath and eagle. Some slight darkening to the reverse by the bottom hook - possible period hook repair. The case in overall very good towards excellent condition. Case fastener functioing.
